Merrimack Property Owners Benefit from SERVPRO Restoration and GreenSky Lending Services
Merrimack Homeowners Turn to SERVPRO for Restoration and GreenSky for Lending
If you have recently suffered through a flood, fire, or mold infestation, we understand that the only thing worrying you as much as restoring your home is how you are going to pay for it. Fortunately, we have some good news.
SERVPRO has recently partnered with the GreenSky lending company to help you put your Merrimack home back together. We take the burden of removing mold, water, and fire damage off your shoulders while our new partner lifts the financial concern.
We sought out this solution after assisting customers who tried to save money by doing the demolition, cleaning, and restoration themselves. In every case, the homeowners or residents simply added to the problem and found themselves with a larger bill; sometimes much larger.
GreenSky has processed over $8 Billion of installment loans to home and business owners who need help to put their property back to its original state. This Atlanta based lending business specializes in restoration based installment loans and has developed a system that lets them process the loans quicker than most other lenders. Depending on your need and qualification, you may get up to $55,000 to cover restoration costs.
Our office personnel have recently completed GreenSky’s financial and software training and can help you however you may want to make your application. The program provides us with several options: In our office, over the phone with GreenSky or filling out an online form that can be processed in just a few minutes while you sit in our waiting room.
The third option is an incredible mobile app. With it, one of our trained technicians can take your information at your residence or business and have you approved for an installment loan before we finish unloading our equipment. Within an hour or two, we can have you set up with an 84 to 96, month loan (7 or 8 years) at a payment that can be as low as $79 a month.
Once approved for a loan, there is no need to use it immediately. GreenSky knows that the restoration process takes time and gives you four months to use it. That gives you the breathing room you need to make the right decisions on repairing your home and whether to restore or replace your personal property.
At SERVPRO of Merrimack, we do everything possible to keep costs to a minimum, but costs can still run into a year’s salary very quickly. For more information on what we can do for your home and how GreenSky can help, call us at (603) 262-9293 or visit us at http://www.SERVPROmerrimack.com.
How To Prepare Your Chimney For The Winter!
10/14/2016 (Permalink)
Your chimney is part of your home, which needs cleaning too.
Fall is here! The temperature is mellowing into a more comfortable range, leaves have already started to fall off the trees. Before we all know it winter will be knocking at our doors! So lets get started on talking about cleaning your chimney in anticipation of cooler nights. Some of you might not know this but chimney's need cleaning at least once a year, more often if yours sees more use than average. Fall is a great time to check because you don't want to start a fire for the first time in the winter without performing maintenance. If you are unsure about if your chimney needs sprucing, all you got to do is take a flashlight and look into your chimney. Take a knife and scrape a bit of soot off of the wall, if it is more than 1/8 inches thick then get your gloves on because it's cleaning time!
If this is your first time your fireplace is seeing cleaning materials, be sure to check for nesting animals and critters who may have made a home there!
The next step is to measure the chimney. It's okay to overestimate but try to be as accurate as possible. This can be accomplished by climbing on the roof and measuring down or measuring up through the fireplace. The size and shape of the flue is important to jot down as well. It can be round or square, 6" or 8".
Now it's time to get all your cleaning materials together. Chimney brush, goggles, a broom and dustpan and also the most important thing is a face mask. Cleaning from top down with weighted brush requires up and down motions as you scrape away debris. Cleaning from the bottom up requires a partner on the roof to help scrub with a pulley system. After your chimney is all cleaned, you have to be careful when sweeping and discarding the debris. Now your chimney is ready for winter nights!
