Amherst Residents are Invited to Participate from February
The Granite State Winter Challenge is a new initiative by the New Hampshire Governor's Council taking place in Amherst. The challenge involves participating in thirty minutes of healthy activity every day from the 1st of January through to March. This program incorporates late-comers, with many participants posting their progress and their live Facebook feed actions. The virtual event occurs by registering with the council, which accepts late registrations from the 31st of January. Certain activities are hosted in groups, such as the first-day walk in the New Hampshire State Park. There are no costs involved with registering, but residents are encouraged to actively apply themselves, helping others with activity ideas and posting their progress.

- Local instructors post live health activities throughout the challenge to provide participants with fresh ideas for their challenge
