Water Damage – Bedford Home
Water damage at this vacant Bedford home was caused by a broken water pipe. There was no furniture to be damaged because the house was empty, but the water damage affected the first floor and the partially finished basement. The before photo shows the master bedroom on the first floor with the carpeting saturated. On the lower level the walls had taken on significant water damage, and portions of the walls were falling off. SERVPRO of Merrimack was contracted to clean up the water and mitigate the array of damages to the building structure. We immediately sent a team of industry certified technicians to perform a damage assessment and formulate a plan for restoration. The source of the water damage was located, and repairs were facilitated. The first-floor water damage was cleaned up and the subfloor was checked for moisture content. The damaged building materials in the partially finished basement were carefully removed and disposed of properly.
